Supporting Communities

Dynamic is committed to supporting communities. If you know of an organization that could benefit from our involvement, please let us know!

King County Sexual Assault Resource Center: KCSARC logo
Pro bono translation project - Dando Voz

Dynamic Language has teamed with the King County Sexual Assault Resource Center (KCSARC) to translate and design a series of booklets, handouts, and worksheets raising awareness about sexual assault and providing resources to victims.

Dynamic worked with KCSARC throughout 2007, as they developed a program called Dando Voz, designed to raise awareness about sexual assault issues to reach the Spanish speaking community. Dynamic translated a wide variety of documents into Spanish, translating over 40,000 words.

According to Mary Ellen Stone, Executive Director of KCSARC, the materials will help the organization to reach the Spanish speaking community, and "will empower the community to make changes themselves, as well as help them get in contact with [KCSARC]." Mary Ellen went on to say that the response to the program has been extremely positive, and heartwarming to her personally. "The brochures look so wonderful; People see that [the materials] were designed for them. We couldn't have done it without [Dynamic's] support!"

KCSARC is a non-profit organization that provides services to victims of sexual assault, as well as working to prevent sexual assault through community education. Dynamic supports these goals, and was pleased to be able to donate the translation and design of materials to KCSARC, and participate in their mission.

Savvy Marketing

"Between 2005 and 2050, 90 percent of U.S. population growth will come from minorities, and those minorities will become the collective majority. Savvy marketers already recognize this, and those who have chosen to communicate with customers and prospects in culturally relevant and inclusive ways are breaking through in the most powerful way possible--by literally speaking the customer's language."
